March On PAC Endorses William Compton for Congress in Kentucky’s 2nd District, Building on Support for Charles Booker
Washington, DC – March On PAC today announced its endorsement of William Compton for Congress in Kentucky’s 2nd Congressional District, building on its earlier support for Charles Booker and continuing its investment in leaders focused on delivering for working families. The endorsement comes as part of the organization’s 2026 election strategy to back candidates prepared to meet this moment with urgency and deliver real results.
Following its endorsement of Booker, March On PAC said it is prioritizing candidates who are prepared to confront powerful interests, defend democratic freedoms, and deliver real economic relief for people who are struggling to get ahead, particularly in states where long-term investment is critical to expanding Democratic power.
“We are continuing to invest in Kentucky because what voters are experiencing there reflects what working families across the country are facing right now,” said Andrea Pringle, President of March On PAC. “Families are being squeezed by rising costs while their rights and freedoms are under pressure. This is not a moment for politics as usual. We need leaders who will fight for a fair shot at a good life and deliver real change. Charles Booker has shown what that leadership looks like, and William Compton is ready to carry that fight forward.”
In Kentucky’s 2nd Congressional District, City Commissioner, union member, and orchestra teacher William Compton is running for Congress on a platform focused on fully funding public schools, protecting and expanding Medicaid, and supporting small businesses and rural job creation.
Booker’s campaign remains central to March On PAC’s broader efforts in the state, where his leadership has helped energize voters around economic justice, healthcare access, and voting rights.
In addition to the endorsement, March On PAC is contributing directly to Compton’s campaign and launching digital advertising and voter engagement efforts focused on reaching working families and communities that are too often left out of the political process.
The Kentucky primary election will be held on May 19.
