Washington, DC – March On PAC today announced its endorsement of Austin Smith for Alabama State House District 74, backing a new generation of leadership focused on delivering for working families and strengthening communities across the state. The endorsement comes as part of the organization’s 2026 election strategy to support candidates prepared to meet this moment with urgency and deliver real results.
March On PAC said it is prioritizing candidates who are ready to confront the challenges facing working families, including rising costs, economic insecurity, and underinvestment in communities, while advancing policies that expand opportunity and improve quality of life.
“We are investing in leaders who understand what their communities are facing and are ready to step up and deliver,” said Andrea Pringle, President of March On PAC. “Families want real solutions, stronger schools, safer neighborhoods, and opportunities to get ahead. Austin Smith represents a new generation of leadership committed to making that happen.”
First-time candidate and engineer by trade, Austin Smith is running for Alabama State House District 74 on a platform focused on education and youth opportunity, neighborhood safety, economic mobility, and infrastructure and environmental resilience.
In addition to the endorsement, March On PAC is contributing directly to Smith’s campaign and launching digital advertising and voter engagement efforts focused on reaching working families and expanding participation in the district.
“Working families do not need more delays or empty promises,” Pringle added. “They need leaders who are ready to act, ready to serve, and ready to deliver results. That is why we are proud to support Austin Smith.”
The Alabama primary election will be held on May 19.
